Doc says Mom is suffering from a case of kidney infection, brought around by not drinking plenty of water. The thing is that he can't say for sure what kind of infection it is.
Currently, we're waiting for the results of the urine test done today, the information will be made available to us three days later.
I'm now wondering if her condition had anything to do with the first batch of drugs that was prescribed by the doctor from SGH. He did mention that there were going to be some side effects, but as to what kind of side effects, it remains to be seen.
I know that there are side effects to every kind of medication, but still, I just can't shake off the fact that Mom's being used like a test subject, like on a trial-and-error experiment with different kind of drugs to combat her rheumatism arthritis.
I feel so utterly WTF and Goddammit...
I noticed that lot of things had been happening to me lately, it leaves me to wonder, am I not allowed to be happy even on my birthday month?
Got Mom's test results. It turns out that her kidney condition stamped from a case of urinary tract infection left untreated, which lead to her sudden spike of fever. How she'd managed to endure the pain and let things escalate before seeing a doctor is beyond me. She's currently on antibiotics for her condition - which is a relief.
The Roman Polanski story. It looks like more and more celebrities are joining in the protest to free him.
I wonder if these people are even aware of what they are actually protesting about. Would they have still done it if they had read about what really happened? Would they have protested so strongly if it happened to someone in their family? Or perhaps it meant that by supporting and thus freeing this man, they might have chance to a starring role in his future works?
Taking away all the hoo-ha and news surrounding the whole thing. The bottom line is, in 1977 this man pleaded guilty to drugging and raping a 13 year old girl. And he being arrested for his crimes is not something which should be protested against.
